Objectives

The Construction4SDG2030 Business Forum is aimed at raising the awareness, facilitating dialogue and sharing best practice among construction industry stakeholders towards the integration of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development into business strategies. The Construction4SDG2030 Business Forum is committed to support construction companies in the UK align their business strategies with the SDGs by;

  • Developing approaches to integrate the SDGs into business strategies and operations
  • Organise workshops and seminars on the SDGs for construction industry stakeholders
  • Share industry best practice on integrating the SDGs into business and providing a platform for construction businesses to network and collaborate
  • Provide regular SDG briefing notes and updates for the construction industry

Mission

The mission of this construction industry knowledge exchange network is to explore the importance of the construction industry towards the realisation of the SDGs. The Construction4SDG2030 forum will provide the platform for construction organisations in UK to exchange knowledge and best practices in aligning the SDGs with business strategies
